Find Ancestors

Hi

Could someone please have a look for a birth in 1921 please for a Constance M A I Smith.

I am helping my step dad with his tree and struggling already with it he says his mom was born in Bournemouth in 1921 i have looked but cannot see it so hoping a fresh pair of eyes will find it.

Thank you for that no he does not know anythink on his grandparents.

Her siblings are Eva, May, Jean, Daisy and Tom.

I have tried looking for them to match with anythink but really struggling.

His fathers side not better Evans and Jones i think i give up before i start lol.

I wonder if she was born after her mother married a Smith i will look for a marriage for Lawerence and Smith thank you Vivienne for that.

I have ordered the marriage cert and she was born in 1921 according to her death in 1996.

I just called my step dad he says Lawrence rings a bell for some reason i am going to order that cert so thank you so much for that, she must have been brought by a Smith because on my step dads birth it has his mothers maiden name as Smith.

Did they have any middle names?

I dont know about middle names i think i will have to give him a call back later when he finishes work later.

Eva was born about 1938 he was told she was a bridesmaid at his moms wedding and she was 6 at the time but of course i cant see it.

I think i will have to wait for the certs to come see what gives me

Just found Eva birth her name is Eva A S J Smith mothers maiden name is Lawrence born in Bournemouth so thank you for that just need to find the marriage of Smith and Lawrence now thank you again.

So it certainly looks like Constance beat the marriage then!
Hope her cert turns up with a fathers name on it.

Do consider of course that there may be no smith/lawrence marriage as one of them may have been married to someone else so they just did the age old thing of living in sin.

Just an update my stepdad phoned his aunt and she gave her parents names as Eva Annie Dorothy Kathleen Lawrence and Percy Smith their liked the middle names lol. I have found the marriage for them.

Well done and thanks for the update.

But again something to bear in mind,constance may not have the same father as the rest!
But taking into considerstion how soon they married after the birth of Constance maybe it is the same father.

I was thinking the same i dont know whether to follow the Smith line but my step dad called him grandad and his mom called herself a Smith i think i will with reading what i put.
