Working on that spelling did the same in Family Search IGI and found

Went into GR Search Trees and put in different combinations of the name. This name has been posted by Elaine. Then went to Ancestry and put in info and came up with this census match. A possible death for Gladys Warwick?

Q Sept 1926, registered in Camberwell, Vol 1d page 647.

She was aged 38.

Camberwell is South London, while West Ham is north of the river Thames. But not a million miles away.

Have also searched for marriages for Gladys by surname of Heatley, Heetley, Wheatley and variations. Her name might not start with a 'B'. For example, I had an ancestor with surname 'Weedon' who I couldn't find on a census. Her hame had been spelled 'Thurdon', so no wonder!

Stewart Edward married her they had a son my father Stewart Leslie whose birth cert i have here,....... I rekon they married i wouldnt know ,

I have tried numerous variations on the Beeteley Name....did think of Bentley,.But not researched that name yet,. Yes Aunty Sherlock that is my dads birth details also it looks like the Beeteley you came up with richard son of jone & thomas could be a gt grandfather to Gladys... i think ?

Hi, just wondering if the surname might not be Beatley as 3 families on Irish 1911 census in Dublin 2 of the families were born in England.Some Warwicks there too.

I would think that Beeteley is mistranscribed in some way. Could she have been a Bentely. Just a thought.

I wonder if the couple ever married. I can see no more children on FreeBMD with mother's name beginning with Be* and father's surname Warwick but I did find a marriage for a Gladys Bentley in West Ham below which could be worth looking at if she didn't marry Stewart Warwick

Hi All, I have tried to find info on my late fathers parents[i was around 4 when my parents separated so never knew gparents or Dad],
On Dads birth Cert his parents are Stewart edward Warwick & Gladys Beeteley, the area of registration plaistow west Ham C B , he was born 16/6/25 They lived at 129 Kennington Park Rd, Southark UD this Address appears on cert,.
Cant find any info on either parent...... & Beeteley doesnt appear anywhere on Ancestry/ Or other sites ? can someone trace anything for me here please,. thanks Caz
