Just pointing out that the family in 1891 isn't the correct one as they are still together in 1901.

1901 England Census
about Thomas King

In 1891, Elizabeth Wells is mother in law and Mary A has been shown as Wells so from your other thread if you were looking for a marriage of Thomas to Mary Wells it wouldn't be your family.

Good luck! If your relatives are anything like mine they were creative with their names to say the least. I do think that cert is likely enough to justify a bit of your hard-earned cash. Would love to know how you get on!

Just in passing, this may well be Walter's Dad in 1881. Just to say he has brothers Walter and Alfred. So maybe my Alfred Walter birth is worth a look after all! I know you asked for parish records, but with any luck we ahve the right bierh and you won't need them

I was merely identifying the thread, so that anyone wishing to cross-refer would be able to do so easily.......and wouldn't look for info which has already been found.

I wonder if this might be worth a look? My great-grandfather never used his 1st name his whole life. You never know.

Kelly Report 23 Jun 2009 16:00

This is an old thread of mine, the dreded king family who have been such a pain, but i wondered if any one does look ups for
CHRIST CHURCH in PECKHAM LONDON S.E.15,
or CAMBERWELL, parish records, i have tried every other avenue
but have come up with nothing,
any help would be so appreciated,
CHRIST CHURCH is where he was married and he came under that in the 1901 census,
