Nothing found in 1910 with the following information:
Scranton
Person born in Austria, 1884 (+/- 2 years), immigrated 1903 (+/- 2 years). Parents born in Austria (or Poland).

Searched results for a name similar to Rudolph; sorry, nothing.

Doesn't help your search, but adding it anyway:
Sabert Fastuacht, arriving 21-June-1909 on board the "George Washington" arriving New York.
Looks like: "Ryto Sis. Josephine Fastnacht 88 Grasmen" and above this entry is E. Cleveland.

No sign of the other family members yet.

Hi Danielle, I was typying as you posted. I originally searched for the four, born in Poland. I'm searching again (without surnames) with Austria birthplace.

Perhaps all of the siblings were in the States twice. Marie's immigration date is 1904 for both census returns. I will have a look for her entry pre-1905 later.

Hello Lisa
That may be her. This is a tricky one as there seem to be so many variations in the spelling of the surname. My Ggtgrandfather George Lamnek is recorded on the border crossing from canada to usa in 1904 as going to see his brother in law RUDOLPH FASNAUCHT in Scranton. But the Rudolf and siblings I found on the Ellis Island records didnt arrive in the USA until 1905 but so many other details fit perfectly - this one is certainly making my head spin!

Thanks Lisa

I see what you mean. Doing the Fastuacht on the Ellis Island site gets a person onboard a ship from Naples.
The bunch you were asking about (all single and brothers and sisters) were headed to Cleveland. (According to the Ancestry images).
I've not looked for them in any census.

Hello All
I found the following passengers on ELLIS ISLAND records I wonder if anyone out there we access to more records can tell me if they can be found on the census and where they might have lived in the USA. I am having trouble viewing the ellis island image.

Rudolf is the 'brother in law' of my ggtgrandfather George Lamnek who arrived in Canada in 1904 from Czernowitz. But I am not sure exactly of the nature of 'brother in law', is Rudolf married to George's sister or vice versa.

Fastuacht, Franz Czernowitz age 27 born 1878 arrived 1905
Fastuacht, Josefina Czernowitz 23 1882 1905
Fastuacht, Marie Czernowitz 18 1887 1905
Fastuacht, Rudolf Czernowitz 21 1884 1905

Any help greatly appreciated.

Kind regards

Danielle
