Fairthorn,

Did you get the John C Young of Harrow with a possible son living with them?

I wonder if we could possibly trace the marriage of John & Judith and then maybe confirm the child as theirs?

FAO Helen

If the HARROW John C YOUNG is not on the NEW electoral roll
there is an old neighbour from 2007 on the telephone, who odds will know where they have moved to.

Tom / Ann / David GREEN ..............too many to trace unless you get really lucky.

Thankyou Pam,

I think Carol's not quite got the hang of using the message board- but she will reply through personal message.

If you use SEARCH (located beneath GR logo top left hand of page) there is a Richard Young born in Finchley listed...by Richard. You can make contact from there.

I have pm'd Carol.

Thankyou Fairthorne,

Failing that I'll look to see if there's any trace of David, that Carol mentions as the son of Tom and Ann Green.

Problem is there are 102 JOHN C YOUNG's in the UK in 2000

There was JOHN C YOUNG in Harrow but they sold their house in 2007

I will see if I can find a more recent address .........via WHIRLEY

Another question, Carol. Do you know where in Canada Jack Young came from? And did they live in Canada after marriage?
Sorry, that's 2 questions!

MESSAGE FROM CAROL:

Sorry for my mistake. Yes, Joyce was a Green -sister of Tom, and Daughter of Fred and Rhoda. She married Jack Young and they had 2 sons John and richard ages about 63 and 60.

Can anybody help Carol please?

(have messaged Carol with details of how to access her message and to ask which area her cousins were from)

Gritty Report 17 Jun 2009 16:20

I'm a bit confused too- sorry Carol

If Joyce and a brother called Tom Green, then her name was Joyce Green.
Did Joyce marry Jack Young?
Were her children, John and Richard, registered as Green or Young?

And do you have any dates- it would be great if we could find someone with photos for you.

MargaretM

MargaretM Report 17 Jun 2009 16:08

I don't understand how John and Richard Green could have parents Joyce & Jack Young? Then you say that Joyce had a brother Tom Green. So her maiden name was Green? Did she have John and Richard before she married Jack Young?
