Out of the phoebe births I would go for phoebe alice as Ann is Frances second name.

The district Rotherham spans the boundaries of the counties of Derbyshire, South Yorkshire and West Riding of Yorkshire


But the birth of john in walsall reg is also a very likely one
And of course there is the choice of 2 phoebes.

A process of elimination by sending for the one you think most likey of them using mother and fathers name as checking ref.

Have you found them on 1911 to find out how long they have been married.??

To find out the maiden name of their mother you need to buy one of their birth certs.

What is frances ,second name on the marriage cert.?

And I cant find them in 1891 either.

I have the marriage cert. for Frances Baker who married Fred Wilson in 1914 which gives the father as John Baker. The address given for Frances on cert. was 76 Ford's Row, Whitwood mere. Traced this back to being John Baker born Portabelo, Staff. But cannot trace in 1891 census.

Yes I got the same but cannot trace back to earlier census to find Mary, Phoebe or Frances and have no idea how to find their mothers maiden name?

Although on 1901 is says that john junior is born denaby main,I think this is him.

Trying to find Phoebe Baker,s mothers maiden name? Phoebe was born ar Denaby Main around 1892. Her father was John Baker and her mother was Mary Baker.
