Please can any-one help.
My Grandmothers sister Emma Spurr Married name Worrall died sometime after 1915 in an institution. Her address at that time was Leeds Yorkshire. I have not been able to find any link to her death, either where or when. If any-one can help i would be very gratefull.

Many Thanks

To find her death registration you need to go through the Complete Registrations quarter by quarter, year by year.

Hi Patricia - I have only just found your 2009 message on the Find Ancestors board. I can't help you, I'm afraid, but would like to exchange information, as I too am looking for the death of Emma Worrall, nee Spurr, who was my Grandmother. She was named as Tom's next of kin in 1915, but by 1918, when he was discharged from the Army she was no longer listed as his kin, so presumably by this time she was in an institution. He had children with a partner in 1920, (my mother's step-mother Mary Elizabeth Appleyard, nee Brook,) whom he married in 1932 when they were both listed as widower and widow. I know that her first husband did not die until 1931, but I don't know when Emma died, or where. None of my family can shed any light on the matter either.
I hope we can, between us, resolve this. regards Christine
