OK I hope you are not in Houston.... because we have a problem. Stupid here does not know how to change a jpeg file so it can be highlighted, copied and pasted.

There are about 40 good citizens with the family name of Sansom living in the Raymond Terrace district of Newcastle NSW in 1930. This list includes David and Mary Ann and Archie and George and whover else.

Information is accessible on the Ancestry Australian electoral rolls.

It is not possible to search for births after 1908. However you are able to do a electoral roll search for the years 1930 and 1936 which will tell you where these people lived and who lived with them.

And it would make matters so much easier if I just stopped explaining how to do the jolly thing and went and did it!!

If any of this matches you may like to go into the National Australian Archives site, into collection, then records search and put SANSOM into the search. It brings up a few entries about land acquisition at Williamtown.

Is this one related. Hamilton is in the same vicinity as Stockton and Raymond Terrace.

I'm trying to find ancestors of Mary Ann west. Some info that I have is as follows. born 31/12/1884 Raymond Terrace NSW Australia M David John Sansom 19/11/1902 Willamtown NSW Australia.
Fr George West M Martha Sutton I don't know which part of UK they came from. Mary Ann is my Grandmother. My mum doesn't know much about her mothers side. Any help would be much appreciated.
