Thanks Ann ....... I've been trying to use the IGI/ LDS /Family Search website all night and also the Cornwall OPC site. Im a newbie and I just can't seem to find the results that I am looking for. |

Beware of taking pedigrees for granted from the Family Search site - they are submitted records and may not have been checked for accuracy. Some appear to be works of fiction!! The only things on that site that you can believe are extracted records, where the originals have been photographed and transcribed - even then it pays to view the film to check the transcription - it's surprising how often you find extra notes in the registers. |
