I am trying to find names of children born to john kirkpatrick born about 1851 and jessie sutherland born about 1851 from the orkneys in scotland any helpp much apprieciated thanks sandra

Thank you for the info,john and jessie are my great grandparents ,just got to find a bit more about my grandfather now Ebenezer shearer kirkpatrick born in longhope in the orkneys about 1879,I think he married about 1902 to margaret gribble but dont know where or when and where he was living after that date,i know margaret his wife was in Grimsby after about 1904

Sorry Ginny ,as this tread had a list of all their children I thought it would be easier to trace their son george,i found out now he was married to a margaret Miller and that he died in 1945 , i was just trying to see if he had any children ,regards sandra

Here's Margaret. Ebenezer's name has been crossed out. He is a fisherman and was probably away when the census was taken. One of their 5 children had died.

Thank you alviegal for your reply ,I already have all this generation on my tree as my dad was one of the children born later on,and Ebenezer who was born 1908 died aged 9 months ,it was only George kirkpatrick born 1889 son of jessie and john kirkpatrick (a brother to Ebenezer born 1888 )and a uncle to my dad,I am looking for info on only george I have all georges other siblings family on my tree ,but nothing for george,I wondered if he had any children ,he was born in Bressay shetland ,and I believe he married margaret miller he diied in 1945 in khyber pass stromness orkney .all other family members I have got in my tree .regards sandra
