Find Ancestors

I am trying to find My Dads family My dad Patrick Mccullough was born in Burnley Lancashire sister Mary and Brother Samual all i know is thier mothers maiden name n thats Howarth ..... My uncle Samual Emigrated to canada when he was about 15 i think can anyone help me find the Parents names, places of birth and deaths ... I would be very greatful Thanx

My dads date of birth is 15/3/48.
Im trying to get hold of any other records ie*parents of patrick and samuel or even any other brothers or sister of them as i really dont know much ..... Ty for all the help and info

If you get the marriage cert, it will give you both partner's ages (it might just have "full age" meaning they were over 21), their father's names and occupations. Then you can look for their births.

For births, deaths and marriages upto 1930, this site is free to search:

Patrick and Samuel's parents were Samuel J McCullogh and Jessie Haworth - Artbeat and Gwyn have given you the marriage details.

There are only the three births given for McCullough with a maiden name of Haworth Burnley/Nelson area from 1931 to 1966 - so it doesn't look as if there were any other siblings.

I cant get hold of mariage cert..... My dad doesnt know im doing this .......... i know nothing about my dads mum or dad at all........ only mothers maiden name was howarth..... sorry

Ty potty does it give parents details at all ? apart from names ?

Lynsey without applying for the marriage cert it is pure guess work to know when samuel & jessie were born.
There are to many births with there names.

click on order certificates online you will have to go through the registration process ie your details but only for first time you use it. Then use the information you have already been given

it will cost £7 and am not sure how long the GRO are taking to post out certificates at the moment but they will give you an estimated date of arrival of your cert. This should give you details to go back further!
