Freebmd uses colour strips, not the original material. In 1909 the indexes don't cross reference so unless you have the cert (as you do) there's no way of knowing from the entry. |

Depends what his job was,,,,if he died at sea or drowned and no body was recovered then without no formal ID.his death couldnt be registered back then,.....perhaps he just left the family home ? |

Yes thats the marriage of Kate Jane Pogson to Thomas G Wolstencroft and the next entry says she is a widow ....in March 1911 census ....we cant find anymore |
