I visited the library this morning to print off some census for one part of my family but would appreciate it if someone could look at the original please.

Frederick Goodwin born c1853 Meopham Kent.

The query is regarding 'Philish' Goodwin

I have taken this to be Phyllis, but cannot find a birth /marriage or any reference for her whatsoever.


I couldn't find the family on the 1861 to check her earlier..

Also, I think 'Edgara' is actually Edward.

Would be very grateful for some experienced eyes cast on this for me. Thank you.

Thank you Alviegal. Another reason why I am confused is that on the 1871 'Phlish' is aged 15 and now, I see that on FMP she is only 5!

The original certainly looks like Philish.

Thanks for the 1861, I struggled to find that this morning! I'll go and check births for 1866 ish now!

Mind you, I am now wondering if this is Pricilla who appears in the 1881 aged 15. Possibly another mistranscription??
