Find Ancestors

I've had lots of help from some fantastic people in my search for my Gt Grandmother Florence Kate Wood/s, but despite this and getting a birth certificate in the name of Florence Wood born at Baldock, it was not her (my Flornece)!! Having then found she was born as Florence (as yet unknown) to Rebecca Taylor an unmarried mother who later married William Wood, I have searched the feeBMD for her in the name of Taylor and still nothing. I has a birthdate for her as7-4-1872 from a family bible, but found a baptism for Florence Taylor 19-4-1871 with mother Rebecca.
Does anyone have any ideas where I could now look as I am so disappointed at not being able to find her.
Florence's mother Rebecca changed her name from Taylor in 1841 and 1851 to Woods in 1861 then back to Taylor in 1871 and back to Woods again!!
Hope someone can give me some advise as to where to look next.

Yes thats the one i've got, it is not my Gt Grandmother Florence though, as the date of birth is wrong and the actual place of birth and the mothers name are wrong. Florence could not have been Woods then as her mother was not married to William Woods until later.

As registration wasn't compulsory until 1875 she may not have been registered at all, so there may be no birth certificate to find.
