Lindsey, What can I say. You had done it a week what I having been trying to do for years! I had a word with my great aunt and see thinks the William you found in the home is the right William as she seems to remember him saying he was in a home at one point. So I am going to work back from there and hopefully get it sorted. I used to belong to Ancestry.co.uk but since retiring and moving to France I find the cost a bit to much for me to pay at the moment. I will go on the cencus and try and put it altogether.

I shall be interested to see how it goes, I still cant find Lily, but hey she might turn up one day.
