	Hi Melanie, as you can see from what Christine has printed out for you, there are many people with the same name and it's hard to know which was which. Here is the reference for Emily and Alfred's marriage (Looks like he's Oliver Albert on his marriage cert and Albert Oliver on his son's birth cert. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Marriages Dec 1885 (>99%) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ABBOTT Emily Lambeth 1d 889 Chapman Oliver Albert Lambeth 1d 889 This is a possible son because it shows the surname Chapman with the mothers' maiden name as Abbott and it's in Lambeth. Births Dec 1915 (>99%) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapman Stanley E Abbott Lambeth 1d 554 Unfortunately, the records only started showing the mother's maiden name around 1911 so anything before that date is harder to verify.

Member Since: October 2004 Posts: 20 Send Message	Hi I am trying to locate my fathers uncles, aunties who were Chapmans who we believe lived in the Cricklewood area of London or Lambeth during early 1900's. My grandfather was Francis Oliver Chapman born 28/11/04 and died 03/04/74. He had brothers called Henry, Arthur and a sister called Rose. Any help would be much appreciated Thanks x
