I am trying to find anyone who knew or is related to David chapman, who was the last person in England to be sentanced to death by hanging on 1st November 1965 but on the 8th November 1965 capital punishment was stopped and he subsequently got life ( I think in York prison) He was released in 1979 but later died in a car accident. I have been told he may have been welsh, although he was in scarborough at the time of his conviction.
Any info at all please message me. (No matter how little)
