I think this is John and Janet in 1861. The surname has been mistranscribed. I also believe that John was born in Chorley, Lancashire. I say this because on the 1871 Census, they have him down as being born in Charley, Lanarkshire which I also feel may be a mistranscription.

I am amazed that Benjamin/Alexander Beaver was born in Scotland, he is my Grandfather whom I never met, my Father died when I was young.
Now at long last I have a surname for Janet, Benjamin's Mother.
Benjamin and Isabella had a daughter, Daphne, she is missing on these records of the children?
