The births in 1864 Chertsey only give the name Herbert - no mention of the Richard part. No offence meant but are you sure he was born in Chertsey? |

William and Eliza are mistranscribed on the 1871 census and they have herbert there and also a nephew by the name of Allan Mason so if you order the birth cert for Herbert with the mothers maiden name Mason you should get hte right one. |

I am looking for the birth record for Herbert Richard TURNER who was born c. 1864 in either Woking or Chertsey. I have found two in Chertsey, one in the first quarter and one in the second. Has anyone investigated either before? I believe the one I'm looking for had a father William who lived in Chertsey. |
