Do you not have a copy of her marriage certificate? That should give her age. When did she die, do you know? Depending when she died, it may give a birthdate in the death record.

Hi...I am trying to find birth details of my husbands birth mother Doris Smith. We know that she married Paul Skiba in Preston in 1948. We think that she would have been born abt 1928. Doris mother was also doris smith and unmarried at the time of the birth. We have been told that she went into a workhouse to have Doris possibly in the manchester or preston area.
Does anyone have any ideas or can help???
