Find Ancestors

Yesterday with help from many on this site I got started on the Briffitt family. The name seems to be open to more variations than most but I am still unable to find a birth for Minnie Elizabeth c.1852. I have just turned up a potential brother for her, George William Briffett, born in Southwark Workhouse.
To cut to the chase, what I am hoping is that the 1861 census could show more of the family together, starting with father George c.1828 and wife Elizabeth c.1834 with at least Minnie Elizabeth c.1852 and maybe

Hi Vera, I don't think Bath is very likely as in the 1881 census Elizabeth comes from Lambeth, London and her children are born there.

Thanks Ricochet, I wonder if any more of their children suffered the same fate?
George seems to have very different places of birth and doesn't show up in IGI anyway, but then he might have had an entirely different spelling in 1828.

Thanks Andy, especially for telling me my mental arithmetic was throwing a wobbly! I will possibly be able to find her husband now as I did the same thing with his age.
