my step grandma was Irene Flynn born 1902 married to my grandad clarence crosskill in 1953 after the death of my grandma.
Weird i only met her once in early 1970, just need to clarify a few things not sure if she had a daughter called kathleen (who i think i could be named after).Thought she came from grimsby area but don't quote me on this.
Doe's anyone have any clues or have any family conections on this?

Is flynn her birth name, or surname from previous marriage.

Had Irene been married before she married your granddad?

This is the reference for their marriage certificate:-

Clarence L. Crosskill to Irene Flynn
Dec. qtr. 1953, Grimsby, 3b, 436

If she had been married before then this certificate will give you her father's name (which should be her maiden name), which will make it easier to find her daughter's birth (if she did have a daughter).

yes I am sure this is correct, only by searching through records, it's so difficult at times but then it clicks.......didn't realize though she moved to kent after my granddads death. Times like this I wish I had asked more questions from my father.
Checked birth year from family tree search put in Irene Hanslip and it came up with 4 possible matches and guessed the one from Grimsby area being Pauline the tree holder which gave the birth date.Hope this info is right
