Thank you for all your help and I can confirm success in the 1911. Using the 'Advanced' with target Eliza Wilkins, married 1910, born 1891 and other name in household Richard Steward then place of birth Leeds produced one result (what we were hoping for)

The Franklands of 1901 are Franklin in 1911. Two extra children, but no John (father), so this death would tie in nicely with the info you have.

Sue, if you haven't already done it I would rather you didn't waste your credits on me. Somebody told me you can get places of birth by the advanced search and it does work, just somewhat longwinded.

Ok Frances if you're pretty sure the Wilkins I found on 1911 are yours then I'm willing to use 10 credits to give you the information - it will also tell you where they were living.

My moan on the 1911 compared with the 1901 is that there is no place of birth, unless you pay - it must be Gordon Brown behind that one.....?

I have found a John Franklin marrying a Hannah Wilde in Bramley March 1885 9b 359.

Yes Sue, the connection that got me to the marriage is their daughter Lilian Wilkins, who gives her father's name as Richard Stewart Wilkins.

P.S. my father's family are from Bramley and I was born in Armley and lived in Bramley.

I only have them in a list of results - I haven't looked at the transcript as 10 credits are needed. Is the Richard you have Richard Steward?

I think they are on the 1911 census as Eliza and Richard Steward Wilkins in Leeds. Not that this is what you asked for.
