hi all
i wonder if any of you lovely people can help me with a problem that my dear mother has given me
my mom asked me this afternoon if it would be possable to try and find out if her mother was stil alive or had passed away.
we have one small prob my mother hasnt spoken to her mother since before i was born so thats nearly 40 years and as far as she knows she is the only relative alive so has nobody realy to ask
so the information i have got from mom on her mom is
name gladys mary victoria sayers born march 1910 in solihull
birmingham

married harrold victor cummings april may june 1931
birmingham s

now this is where i am having the problems
my grandad harrold died during the second world war and i know that gladys remarried a eidris williams after the war now ive looked between 1945 and 1950 and dont seem to find it so if someone could find it i would be very great full

now my mom isnt sure if her mom is still alive or has passed over and as she is the only living relative she hasnt got anybody to ask
the only info we have is that her mom is called gladys mary victoria williams and if she is still alive she would be 100 next year if she has passed away i dont have a date of death

would it be possable to find out using GRO if my moms mom has passed away


if anybody can find out this information i would be very greatfull and so would my mom
