In 1881 she is shown as being 29 yrs old which would estimate the yob as 1852. It wouldnt be unrealistic for 1850 to be right although I know that Thoma was born in March 1851 and is listed as 30 in 1881. Would they really say that she was youger than her husband? |

I have Thomas Brooks (1851) married to Mary Grindey in Sept 1872. I have together in 1881 (Leek, Staffs) & 1891 (Aston, Warwickshire). My problem is I cannot find Mary before this time. I have tried to find a birth to no avail. Without this I have no chance of finding parents, siblings etc to follow the line back further. |
