	Actually, now that you mention it, Margaret, I knew that, although I didn't realize it -- from enrolment records I'm familiar with, it was the mother, true! The Sask vital records database doesn't show deaths for Charles or Annie up to 1938. Yup, that's the 1901 list I got at Ancestry, and the kids whose births are shown there.
