OMG the Alice Webb and Harry Webb on the 1911 census is them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ive now got my certs down and reopened the 1911 census and bingo she is staying with her Aunt Uncle & cousin and theyre the same people that witnessed the marriage how bizarre is that!!!!!!!!!!

Even more confusing is wheres my great grandad and further more why is she saying she is single?

Im now going to buy the census for that James Webb you mentioned before to see if it is him (but not sure im going to be able to proove it unless he's also living with people I already know about)

Now I really do wish could pop up to heaven to ask them god relatives are so frustrating bet theyre having a right giggle at me now lol.

If you look at 1861 census it says registration district Chertsey and 1851 says John born Portland which would be Weymouth district .
If you go to http://freebmd.rootsweb.com when you find an entry you can click on the district and it will open to show you what places are covered by that district.

Hi Everyone xxxxxx

I would like to say a massive thank u to everyone whos helped me on this frustrating puzzle.

I think its almost solved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i cant quite believe it yet lol.

My great nan appears to have remarried a man named George Green in 1913 (using her maiden name tho of Hooton !!!!!! )
They went on to have 1 son named Lloyd Green in 1914.

Only prob now is whether my great grandparents divorced or if my great grand dad died after they split up (seeing as great nan in 1911 was saying she was single lol)

Ive tried the national archives but to no avail at divorces so now off to re search my great grandads death (tho im again now thinking that the 1924 James Webb born Chertsey is the right one after all im going to buy the death cert just in case)

I am one happy bunny

Thank u all so very much again im eternally grateful xxxxxxxxxxxxx
