Hi, I have the following birth - Daisy Matilda Hambleton, born 17/04/1896 18 Major (?) Road, Stratford, London. Parents Samuel Hambleton (Builder's labourer) and Esther Hambleton formerly something, very hard to read, might be Ludsell (last bit almost certainly ...'sell'). I cannot locate any marriage for the parents on free BMD so any help on this or census info would be gratefully appreciated. Many thanks.

Thank you for all that extra info! Can we presume that Esther had married Mr Shadrack and may have then married or lived with Mr Hambleton? I can't find the Lindsell/Shadrack marriage on Free BMD or a subsequent Shadrack/Hambleton marriage, have you seen anything for the 'second' marriage?

I searched for Hambleton/Shadrack variations as well with no luck.

I tried to find a James Shadrack death, no luck. Maybe that tells the story.
