Thank you for all your hard work. This is really helpful. I think you may have found Frances Mary's mother and father. The only thing I can't find now is the births of my Dad's siblings. Charles, Robert and Lillian, Charles was older than my dad so I think he must have been born around 1920 and I also believe Lilian was older (though I never met this lady) and his brother Robert was younger. |

Looks like Frances married a Plaice after her marriage to Lowery. |

Thank you for that Margaret I didn't know about this website. It seems to be getting stranger as where did my Dad's surname come from? Unless Frances married again before the 1920's which would seem unlikely in those days. |

Thanks for all your help. All the children were born in Middlesbrough they were living at (I think) Fleet Way in 1901. I have the census page from 1901 which is were I got my information from. I have hit a brick wall trying to find out who Frances married as my Dad's surname is Plaice and I can find nothing in the records for a Plaice. I really appreciate everyone's help on here. |
