Member Since: April 2003 Posts: 13 Send Message	I'm trying to find details about my grandma's parents only to discover that my grandma doesnt exist on the BMD register- she was born in February 1920 in Coed Porth Wales, I've got her birth certificate (copy done in 1956) - any clues?

	Doesn't it say on her B/C that you have what her parents names were

	Hi Tracy, On the birth certificate you have....as Julie says...it should show her parents names......What info does it give? Regards Vera

	Where abouts in Wales is Coed Porth The only one coming up is the one registered in Wrexham

	I took it by your post that you couldn't find a birth at all for her Births Mar 1920 (>99%) Edwards Dora Middlebro[oc]k Wrexham 11b 531 Middlebro[oc]k...that is mother maiden name which should be Middlebrook __________________ Could be some more births Births Jun 1921 (>99%) Edwards Linda Middlebrook Wrexham 11b 506 Births Sep 1922 (>99%) Edwards Mary E Middlebrook Wrexham 11b 452 Births Dec 1928 (26%) Edwards Herbert Middlebrook Blackburn 8e 505

	where are you looking, I use Ancestry or http://freebmd.rootsweb.com/cgi/search.pl Tracy, for bmd before abt 1927 use the link above it is a free site although it is still far from complete Roy
