Member Since: January 2003 Posts: 204 Send Message	Richard Bruce Smith born Hutwaite Notts 01/03/1893 had 1 son as I now of named Clive,who lived in the Worthing area and was born in 1934. Richard (Dick) parents were Thomas Smith & Sarah Smith nee Gelsthorpe.He had two sisters Lucy (Nellie),Sarah and a brother Jack. Richard joined the Metroplitan police after WW! and retired achieving the rank of Detective inspector he died in the Worthing area 02/091965 in the Worthing area. Any help on hiw wife name where married died etc Clive

	If you bought Clives birth cert you would have mums maiden name - you can also check for it on freebmd as after 1911 mums maiden name is shown on registration. However that late a date may not yet have been transcribed. Do you know the accurate birth date of Clive? Do you know where he was born? If so, we could look at the complete bmd index for him.
