Ancestry search problems!

When I go onto BMD births 1984-2005, its impossible to get any result up. I get a message saying 'Insufficient information entered' etc. Even when I enter the maximum amount of info! Ive emailed them, and got no reply. Is anyone else having this problem? The marriage and deaths are ok.

I'VE JUST TRIED TO SEARCH FOR A BIRTH I KNOW DEFO HAPPENED IN 1985, I GOT THE SAME MESSAGE!!

Took them 13 days to get back to me on email, so if you want a responce in a reasonable time I suggest calling them.

Note, when you clickon deaths and marriages above the search box where you enter the search info It will say England & Wales, Death Index: 1984-2005 or England & Wales, marriage Index: 1984-2005

but on the birth's above the search box it say's Unknown,

Clearly Ancestry's problem

If you scroll down a bit it says

New records on Ancestry.co.uk

Under that you'll find this....England & Wales, Birth Index: 1916-2005

click on it

It's not havin it, keeps bringing up recent births I want 1938!!!!!!!!!

I think they are still playing wth it cos earlier i found my birth and now it ain't having it.

I just tried the complete too and that 's now coming up unknown

So it looks like they are com binding the 2 complete indexs together

Wonder how long it will take lol

If you go to familyrelatives.com you can do the same searches as ancestry for births, marriages and deaths from 1984-2005 and it's free.

births from 1984-2005 is now births 1916-2005 it has just given me births from 1935 1938 and 1946 instead of searching each year q by q .......GREAT!!!
