Is there anyone doing lookups for departures from Scotland to Australia looking fro George Forbes Reid born 2/3/1902 and Thomas Forbes Reid married in Glasgow born 1899 married in Australia 1939 also John Cummings Reid born 1886 married in Australia 1920 they were living in Melbourne Thanks Sheila

That is great I do not know Georges occupation as he was born 1902 he is not on census J.S Reid could have been his sister but she died in Dunfermline in 1960 so did not think she had gone out to Australia. I am also looking for Alexander Reid and Mary Helen Reid who went out to Australia I am not sure where to begin with but theses other Reids were his cousins so could have gon to Melborne Thanks Thanks Sheila

Thanks for that and must be same family but we have got Alexander in Binalong N.S.W in 1924 however we are not sure if they went to Australia together or seperately we know Alexander was still in Edinburgh in 1919 and we think she was still in Scotland 1916 there is a marraige in Hornsby Australia in 1922 maybe they came back for a visit or maybe JEan Stewart Reid came back with them. Sorry Sheila You are a star.

Sorry to be a nuisance and say if you do not want to look, I have got a letter from Australia today with other details I am looking for a passage for Jean Morrison Rogerson/George Thomas Rogerson she was born 1889 Scotland between 1910/1920, also I have now found than Mary Helen Reid went out on her own in 1921 and Alexander the year after in 1922. I would be very grateful for a lookup. Sheila

Im trying to find out when Andrew McIntyre born in Scotland 1866 would have went out to Queensland, it would have been before 1891 as thats when he married over there.
