An aside re the unwanted birth cert --

At FreeBMD, you can add a postem to that record giving the parents' names, for anyone else looking for an Elizabeth Roberts, and you could offer the certificate there. You have to include an email address for that, because the system doesn't have a private-message facility. I'd get an anonymous one at www.gmail.com, to avoid exposing your "real" email to spam and anything else.

Postems have very tight size limits, but you could always add two!

I have purchased a[not my family] birth certificate for Elizabeth Roberts born 21 October 1842 Liverpool Lancaster, with parents William Roberts ,and Ellen Hughes , [Fathers occupation was a shoe maker] address 2 Mary Ann Street, If this is your family you are welcome to have it.

My Elizabeth Roberts, she was born Liverpool 1842 , with Father Thomas Roberts Mother Elizabeth ?, Elizabeth b 1842 had a brother David Roberts born 1856 Caernavon Wales, Elizabeth b 1842 had children, Margaret Parry born 1870 Wales, Sophia Parry 1874 Lancashire, Thomas Parry born 1876 Lancashire. Lucy Dent 1880 lancs Frederick Dent 1881 Lancashire.

Her marriage to Thomas Parry was 1 Feb 1862
Her Marriage to Frederick William Dent was April 1st 1879 Dalton Lancashire

I would be grateful for any further info on Elizabeth to be able to get a proper Birth cert;, and maiden name of her mother Elizabeth? [my grt grandmother ] .thanks for all help , Regards Sheila
