Hi all at GR
I am not getting anywhere with my hunt for my great grand dad John Mariner GR AND FreeBMD give me (1861 census ) John born June 1859 Stockton Durham North Riding Yorkshire, This month of birth ties in with the marriage of him and my great gran Sarah Jacob ( married 31st May 1884 in Wandsworth Surrey. john aged 24 Sarah aged 28 ) but I can not find and more info on him. He is down on the marriage cert as being a labourer and his fathers name as william.
On other sites I can only find John Mariner as Christening Sept 1859 Tugby Leicester and I do not think that ia the same one.

Can anyone help!!!

The John Mariner's death you found me is not my man,
It would have made his birth in 1866 about 6 years after my G/Grandad,
My John was 24 when he married Sarah and she was 28, on May 31st 1884

SO the census already found doeant seem to be the right Marriner family as theres no Edith on the 1891/1901 census found

I'M TRYING TO TRACE MY G/GRANDAD JOHN MARINER BORN 1859/1860. MARRIED SARAH JACOB IN 1884 St ANNES CHURCH WANDSWORTH ( I HAVE MARRAGE CERT )
I'VE GOT THAT FAR BUT AS I DON'T KNOW HIS PLACE OF BIRTH I'M STUCK, HE'S FATHER IS DOWN AS WILLIAM. I'VE TRIED ALL CENCUS. ANY HELP WOULD A "BIG" HELP.
