Find Ancestors

I am searching for my two half sisters, born to Barry Woodward (1940) I believe they were born in Bedfordshire. I dont know the name of their mother only that Barry Woodward and his brother John was born to Margery and Bill Woodward from Barnsley. I believe Barry is now deceased which is making it even harder work to find my half sisters. Can anyone help?

your half sisters i am guessing are younger than you? if so what is your year of birth and what year did barry woodward go his seperate way? it may help

I was born in 1965 to Barry Woodwards first marriage to Margaret Hawcroft, along with my other brothers and sister: Lynn, Mark and David.

Barry Woodward remarried between 1967 and 1970. His daughters were born between 1966 and 1971 i think.

does he have a middle initial? there are not many barry woodwards in this time frame but 2 quarters are missing from ancestry index which could make this impossible to do without visiting a major library and reviewing the indexes

No its just Barry Woodward - I have been told his date of birth is 5th May 1940???? not sure how true this is though as i have found no evidence of this.

What about marriages? he was married to my mother Margaret Hawcroft married in 1960 i think?? or around that date. And then married another lady between 1967 and 1970 Its the daughters to this marriage i am trying to trace

Did he find any births for possible daughters?

I am still trying to trace his daughters from his second marriage? born between 1967 and 1975 approx.

maybe my next step would be to find the name of his second wife???

Is it definitely 2 daughters? And are you definite he did get married?

There may be more? but definately two daughters . he was definately married..... but not 100% sure when between 1967 and 1970 i think? he committed bigomy on my mother so maybe the marriage wasnt registered or deleted from the register????

sent dawn pm with details of fathers death. still have not found 2nd marriage or half sisters. suggested getting death certificate for info on addresses and possible witnesses. missing files on ancestry for q4 1969 q1 1970? so all finds will be guesses without certificates?
