Well, 1907 was the birth of the second child...........

BUT........where is the reference to 1860? I can't see it on this thread anywhere

Found this on 1901 but she was born 1862
Serene Boyce born India in 1862.

Already married with several children in South London.

I think Carol should get the certificates of those she is certain of and take it back from there.
I personally have spent ages looking for people who finally turn up with totally different names from those family told.

ie Great Aunt Debbie turned out to be Emily Ethel..........

How does Carol know when he was born? She makes no reference to having found him on any census......nor to his place of birth.

I have to agree that she must get the birth cert for James 1907. Until she does, everything is speculation...................

Thank you all for the info I will order the full version of the birth cert and follow back fron there.Once again thanks Carol
