Find Ancestors

Can any kind person please help A complete family seems to have disapeared, i am trying to trace The Barnett Family, William Barnettwas born in Bekeley Gloucster around 1830 Married to Caroline Jones of Milford Pembrokeshire .One of their daughters Margaret was my gr grandma, I think william was a lawyer they lived eventually in West Hartlepool there were at least 8 children. i can not find them on the 1881 census or any of them marrying or dying any help will be really appreciated thanks regards elizabeth

From the 1871 census his occ is Sawyer not lawyer which fits with the 1861.

Still haven't found them in 1881 though.

Looks Promising thanks but does anyone know why the family arent on the 1881 census i tried the wales one thinking they could have been visiting her parents but no luck i have the names margarets siblings but no marriages or deaths

No luck at all thats what i mean about them dissapearing ther is also another child Kate born 1872 but i can not find any thing except my dads gra which was margaret who in the 1901 census was living in liverpool Emily was not married but a spinster who was visiting at the time and was a school teacher, that is all i know about the Barnetts regards elizabeth

In 1891 with Caroline were William 30 born Hartlepool,single and Lily age 15 born Barrow.

Was Lily Carolines daughter and does William have a wife, cause i have no record of lily, i have all the family of margaret and charles but that is it ,Charles was from Rutland and was a railway driver so he moved across the country alot but i dont know how caroline got there maybe because her hubby died. If You can give me any more info i would be so very greatfull many thanks for your time Elizabeth

They are just down as Lodger's, William is single.

hi Christine no sorry i did not see the deaths i am aware caroline is a widow that is all i know but i have no idea who the corrys are or who lily belongs to elizabeth

hi again just checked the deaths i know about tom he was only one day old when he died but thanks for finding gertrude she is in my tree so now i can put her death in shame kiddies died so little elizabeth

The Corry's are probably no relation as there is no relationship given.

Lily could have been her daughter, only the birth cert would show that.

Tom couldn't have died at 1 day old as he is on the census in 1871 taken 2nd April as 4 days and his death is registered in the Sept qtr.

HI again Christine my Mistake it was his dads brother also called Thomas that died at 1 day old in 1818 i think it was so thomas the younger was a surprise i am thinking lily was carolines daughter since the other children would be a td too young elizabeth
