You would be best to order the marriage cert to confirm the details for the birth cert. If there is more than one possibility for a birth it would be so easy to start following the wrong tree.

Hi Linda

Thanks for the information.

You're right, I have the marriage certificate and are spot on with Ronald's info.

In relation to Annie's birth certificate it ties in with the 1909 date, so I have ordered this one to confirm.

Many Thanks for helping me out.

The other possible birth for Annie was
Name: Annie Wood
Year of Registration: 1912
Quarter of Registration: Jan-Feb-Mar
Mother's Maiden Name: Player
District: West Ham
County: Essex, Greater London
Volume: 4a
Page: 843

Which of these two ties in with the age she gave on her marriage certificate?
I assume that you have bought this, you only give the reference for it in your query, not the exact date for the marriage which I thought that you would have done, if you had bought the certificate

I looked for the deaths to check the birth ages.

Ronald E Wiseman age 47, E Ham vol 5a p 5 Oct-Dec 1960,
this gives a birth year c 1913

The only Annie Wiseman death in 1960 was aged 86, so that can't be her. There was
Annie Wiseman age 52 Poplar vol 5d p299 Jan-Mar 1961. That could be her if she died right at the end of Dec

birth

Name: Ronald E Wiseman
Year of Registration: 1913
Quarter of Registration: Jul-Aug-Sep
Mother's Maiden Name: Joyce
District: West Ham
County: Essex, Greater London
Volume: 4a

There is this one

Name: Annie Wood
Year of Registration: 1909
Quarter of Registration: Jan-Feb-Mar
District: West Ham
County: Essex, Greater London
Volume: 4a
Page: 299

the only way to find out is to order the cert from the GRO giving her fathers name as a checking point. That way if it is not the correct person, you will get £4 refunded out of the £7 fee

There are another couple of possibilities, but that one is the nearest match
