Help needed please!
I am looking for George William Taylor a plate layer / labourer born about 1856 in Berwick Northumberland.
1880 he married christiana Wright in Sculcoates Hull
1881 census living in Hull with christiana and their son George
1882 their daughter Mary was born
1891 christiana and children have moved to Morpeth Northumberland but I have been unable to find George William and I would like to know what happened to him.
He has such a common name and with his occupation could of moved anywhere in the country.
All help or suggestions gratefully recieved!

do you have any certs for him ie his marriage cert etc ??

First of all Berwick can be traced to Scotland quite often especially if Berwickshire! See some census returns.

I can't find any record of this family in Morpeth in 1891 or anywhere else for that matter.

Thanks to everyone ,
I I've got more possibilties to search for now thank you! Susan you've given the same details as I have for 1881 census which match a birth cert we've got so I think my next step will be to try and get death cert for details you suggest to see if a match?
We know Christiana and the children were definitly in Morpeth cos we know where the house is but not why they moved there from Hull.
