You now say that Frederick was born in 1996 and married in Scotland !

I am afraid I can't help with Scottish records but if you wan't someone to assist you can you re-check and post Frederick's 'correct' year of birth please?

HI Dea, sorry you are right I got mixed up because there is so many William's and Frederick's in my family Frederick was born in 1996 and was married in Greenock Scotland. that is were I am getting lost because I dont know when my family moved from England to Scotland. I am still trying to work it out. but thank you for your time and help.

I have just read one of your messages on someone else's thread which says Frederick George was born 1886 !!!!!!!!

This is 40 years after the marriage of who you say are his parents??

Forgive me but I think this is highly unlikely?

you could also check the 1881 census which is free to search on family search site

I would be greatful if any one give me information on my Grandparents, William Dawkins married to Fanny Hurst around 1846 in Romsey. one of their son's was called Frederick Goegre Dawkins married to Mary Bunton.
