I note that on 1901 &1891 census Alfred Jones place of birth is given as Stoke on Trent. His age in the 1901 census is 58 and in the 1891 census 41 ...... so was wondering whether this is a possible for 1861 census

just done a search on the 1901 website after looking at what catherine had got re 1901and alfred jones has come up b1843 in stoke, staffs.

all the info i have for alfred is he was alfred jones b1851 birmingham and was a potter. he married lavinia hucknall in 1876 in rotherham. in 1881 they were living in Kimberworth, Rotherham
