Or if you google..civilian internees of the Japanese..and you'll get a site where there is a book mentioned which has lots of peoples names listed..I found my grandparents on there...the author is very helpful.

Also Commonwealth War Graves Commission site should have civilian deaths. Or try Fepow..Far Eastern POW site.

A couple of hours ago I was given some information about a gt.gt.aunt that I have been searching for for ages. This information was that the Japanese put her on a boat in Singapore, bound for Australia. However, the Japanese Navy sunk the boat. These are all the details I know.
Please somebody clue me in to where I go from her.
I'll be back on here at about 8.00.
