Member Since: July 2004 Posts: 603 Send Message	Hi, my gggreatgran, Bernetta Scott, born 1839c Gateshead, married my gggranfather Hugh Malloy in 1859 in Gateshead Durham. This is a new line and I am only just starting to look at it (Scott). All I have to go on is that her father was called William, as on the marriage record. She gave her age as 19 and a spinster on cert. As she married in 1859 she may be on 1851/41 census in Gateshead Durham area. So, if anyone has time to look for Bernetts Scott, father William in 1841/51, hopefully Gateshead Durham, I would get a lead on the family. BARNETTA SCOTT Birth: 1839 Gateshead, Durham, England Parents: Father: WILLIAM SCOTT I cant find her birth on BMD, but the LDS have the one above. I have her on 1861/71/81 as wife of Hugh. What I need is to find her on earlier census to trace her family. also if anyone can find her birth I could send for cert. Please help if you are able Many thanks for all the help I have recieved over the last few months on the boards. Kathy

It would help if I knew the area they mariied or even came from, can you see them on later census, they might have given an area they were born, I live in hope.

There are 3 marriages for a William Scott on BMD 1845 - 1849. He might even be living beside or with parents in 1861. thanks Kathy
