Hello. My maternal grandfather was HENRY (known as HARRY) SMITH. He lived in Mitcham, Surrey and was a taxi driver in London. He married DOROTHY CHALKLEY, whose family were from around Weston and Hitchin in Hertfordshire. I'm struggling to get information on HARRY'S parents and then to back from there. Any details about him and his ancestry would be much appreciated.
