Member Since: October 2008 Posts: 8 Send Message	Hello. My maternal grandfather was Henry (known as Harry) Smith. He lived in mItcham, Surrey and was a taxi driver in London. He was married to my grandmother, Dorothy Chalkley, whose family came from Weston and Hitchin in Hertfordshire I'm trying to get information on Harry's parents and then further back from that. Any help would be gratefully received..

	Do you have Henry's marriage cert? You will need it for his age, dad's name & occupation

	They were married in March quarter of 1925 at Southwark, volume 1d - Page 9...the marriage certificate will give you the name of both fathers
