Find Ancestors

Good Morning.
I have looked in Ancestry and Freebmd for this birth and come up with nothing Frederick Alexander Pritchett born 26th May 1916 or 1917 Carlton/Netherfield area Nottingham.
I am wondering if 1916 is a stubbling block as my father's birth isn't on any site either.

Thank you for your quick reply but he was born in Nottingham i believe Willenden is in Staffordshire but cannot dismiss it.

I have just spoken to my sister Frederick siblings are John 1915/1916 Dorothy 1923 and Peter 1935 with a child death somewhere inbetween.

Thank you for looking but i will dismiss this one as Charles Pritchett married Hutchinson 1921 so this isn't them first child born 1915 ish

Thank you for looking i know his birthday was 23rd May so it cant be him or was he not regiistered until then who knows may have to send for his birth cert, do you know his mother's maiden name.

There is only one Dorothy born in 1923

Margaret,

Birth date of 26th May could have been registered in Sept qtr. The mmn is Pritchett though on this one.

As there is such a big difference in ages, you said one was 1935, could there have been 2 marriages.

There is no birth registered for a Peter Pritchett in 1935 or 1936, and no John Pritchett registered in 1915 or 1916 apart from one registered in Birmingham with mother's maiden name Welsh.

Have you got Fredericks marriage cert for his father's name?

You also said there was another birth in 1916 you couldn't find, what is that name?

A big thank you to all you ladies you have been busy for me this afternoon i have been at work so just got back to read all the info it looks like we will have to find marriage cert and take it from there my side of the family seemed so easy to find.
