I know, but mum remembers a family of Kings on Ashby Street, she says they were family friends. There is a son at that address in 1901 called Edward. Also Ronalds middle name is Edward & Ive been told that Charles served with his friend called Edward King.

Thats what we think Jean, & this all came as a total surprise for us. Mum is now 85 & wants to know who her father was.

sounds very fishy to me sounds like edward carried on where charles left off
in them day some men did look after there best friends wife as there own looks like edward is father to those after 1921

There are also twins Irene & Stanley born 1926 both with the middle name of King.

Thats it, youve got it.
Gertrude told all her children they were her dead husbands. I am trying to find out the true father. We didnt learn about this until this year.
Mum told me she could never remember her father but her mother told her he died in 1931 not 1921.
All children born after 1921 have the middle name of King.

Hi, I need help to find military records on Charles William Roe 1886
& Edward King 1878. They are both from Norwich.
I believe they served together in WW1.
Please if anyone could help I would be so greatful.
I am trying to break through a brickwall that I once thought would be impossible.
Could anyone HELP ME PLEASE!
