hi looking for information on a john Chapman possible from cambridgeshire went to ireland in about 1914 meet a irish lady from dublin and had many children my gran was born 1919 in dublin i have no idea who her mother was i've hit a brick wall in my chapman side. she came to englang i think her father John was in the services when he went to ireland other chilren they had were

Best bet is to order the birth certificate for your grandma. That will give you full details of her parents - then you can start to look for their marriage
