Stephen Richard Budgen born 1868 Fletching, Sussex. Parents names were Richard Budgen and Mary Jackson. I have him in 1881 living in Liverpool Industrial School, Everton Lancs. Would like to find where he went after this if anyone can help. Thank you. |

Is he mistranscribed in 1881 as I can't find him at all? |

Physi, there is only one Budgen family born Fletching on the 1891 census (it has been mistranscibed as Bridgen but it is Bugden) No sign of Stephen I'm afraid. |

Looks as if he was born in London and baptised in Fletching: |

Rutland Belle, where are the mistranscribed family living in 1891 please? If it's my family they should be in or around Hull, N. Humberside. Thank you |

I wonder if he was one of the "Home" children who were sent to Canada? |

Have you thought of trying Liverpool Records Office to see if they have and documents from the school? |

Thankyou Christina. They are my family. Milly was my great-gran. Wonder where Richard was then? Even more intrigued now! |
